La Côte d’Ivoire s’approche de ses élections suprêmes. Dans peu de temps, le président de la république actuel devra s’arracher de ses fonctions dont la tête se verra mise à prix au moyen d’un scrutin manifestement très attendu dans ce pays d’Afrique de l’ouest.
La présidentielle se déroule dans cinq (5) mois. Malgré la timide fermeté du gouvernement ivoirien à vouloir l’organiser, vaille que vaille, aux dates et conditions exigées par la lois fondamentale, un sentiment d’embarras semble étrangement s’emparer de la haute hiérarchie du rhdp, mais aussi de nombreux ivoiriens, solidement attachés en la question relative au choix de cet homme providentiel, à mesure de diriger dans les règles de l’art, leur intérêt commun, en lieu et place d’une probable promotion à la sauvette du premier ministre actuel.
La popularité relative de ce chef de gouvernement, aussi bien dans son propre camp, qu’en bien de lieux, confortent de nombreux observateurs dont la plupart estiment que ce haut technicien qui a fait ses preuves aux Grands Travaux, n’aurait pas le souffle, voir les arguments physiques nécessaires, pour sereinement conduire la Côte d’Ivoire, indiscutable mastodonte de l’Union monétaire ouest africaine (UEMOA), sanctuaire imprenable de l’ouest occidental.
Vétéran incontesté du sérail, Duncan Kablan Daniel est un homme rompu en la tâche, qui connaît l’administration ivoirienne comme ses poches. Il y a passé l’essentiel de sa vie et a vue défiler plusieurs chefs d’État, dont notamment le plus important, père de l’indépendance, Félix Houphouët-Boigny.
Timide, travailleur et peu bavard, au fure et à mesure qu’approchent les dates électorales, l’unanimisme tend à se construire autour du vice-président de la république, qui croupit depuis plusieurs mois sous le feu des critiques, très souvent virulentes, venant d’ivoiriens qui l’accusent de ne pas porter d’intérêt en la prestigieuse fonction de chef d’État, pour laquelle son profile correspond pourtant.
À lire entre les conversations, l’homme est «celui qu’il faut actuellement à la Côte d’Ivoire, pour sauver ses meubles», et tuer définitivement les calculs de petits prétentieux en embuscades.
L’occasion pourrait servir d’astuce parfaite pour ramollir la colère et les meurtrissures vécues par l’ancien président Aimé Bédié Henri Konan et le PDCI-RDA, dont on est guère certain qu’ils bouderont la posture « pardon » que pourrait formuler l’ancien collaborateur, en vue de l’appuyer dans cette noble aventure.
Un rapide sondage qui a pris en compte un effectif de dix milles (10.000) ivoiriens, rendu par une ONG de droit local, et dont AGM NEWS a reçu copie, finit par convaincre de l’éventualité d’une candidature potentielle de ce haut fonctionnaire, natif de la cité balnéaire de Grand Bassam (extrême sud ivoirien), par ailleurs de plus en plus réclamé par des citoyens de presque tous les courants idéologiques qui s’affrontent depuis plusieurs décennies au chevet d’une Côte d’Ivoire toujours en marge d’une réconciliation absolue. De quoi ruiner les espoirs de la poignée d’affidés à Gon Amadou Coulibaly, qui peine à renoncer à leur rêve de voir leur mentor se blottir dans les attributs de la très sérieuse fonction de président de la république. Fort heureusement, nous n’en sommes pas encore là!

Côte d’Ivoire is nearing its supreme elections. In a short time, the current president of the republic will have to be torn down from his functions whose head will be put price by means of a vote obviously awaited in this country of West Africa.
The presidential takes place in five (5) months. Despite the timid firmness of the Ivorian government in wanting to organize it, whatever the case, on the dates and conditions required by the fundamental law, a feeling of embarrassment seems strangely to take hold of the high hierarchy of the rhdp, but also many Ivorians, firmly attached in the question relating to the choice of this providential man, able to direct in the rules of the art, their common interest, instead of a probable promotion on the sly of the current Prime Minister.
The convalescence, added to the unpopularity of this head of government with relative popularity, both in his own camp, as in many places, comfort many observers, most of whom believe that this high technician who has proven himself in Great works, would not have the breath, to see the physical arguments necessary, to serenely lead the Ivory Coast, indisputable mastodon of the West African Monetary Union (UEMOA), impregnable sanctuary of the western west.
Undisputed veteran of the seraglio, Duncan Kablan Daniel is a seasoned man, who knows the Ivorian administration like his pockets. He spent most of his life there and saw several heads of state parading, including the most important, father of independence, Félix Houphouët-Boigny.
Shy, hardworking and relatively talkative, in the end and as electoral dates approach, unanimity tends to be built around the vice-president of the republic, who has languished for several months under the fire of critics, very often virulent Ivorians who accuse him of not showing interest in the prestigious function of Head of State, for which his profile nevertheless corresponds.
To read between the conversations, the man is « the one that is currently needed in the Ivory Coast, to save his furniture », and definitively kill the calculations of pretentious little ambushes.
The occasion could serve as a perfect trick to soften the anger and the bruises experienced by former president Aimé Bédié Henri Konan and the PDCI-RDA, which we are hardly certain will turn away from the posture of « forgiveness » that could formulate. former collaborator, in order to support him in this noble adventure.
A quick survey which took into account a workforce of ten thousand (10,000) Ivorians, made by an NGO under local law, and of which AGM NEWS received a copy, ends up convincing of the possibility of a potential candidacy of this high official , a native of the seaside town of Grand Bassam (extreme south of the Ivory Coast), more and more demanded by citizens of almost all ideological currents who have been clashing for more decades at the bedside of an Ivory Coast still on the margins of absolute reconciliation. What ruin the hopes of the handful of devotees to Gon Amadou Coulibaly, who is struggling to give up their dream of seeing their mentor snuggle up in the attributes of the very serious function of president of the republic. Fortunately, we are not there yet.
